2014-2017 Yoke

What shock can I use?

The most common options are the Fox Float DPS and Rockshox Monarch but as long as the shock is a single can 200X57mm (7.875"X2.25") or 200X51mm (7.875"X2.0") you are okay to choose whatever your personal preference is. It is also worth asking your local shop that will service the shock if they have a preference.

For WC frames, please see the topic below

What stroke length shock should I use?

The stock bike uses a 53mm stroke so the most common option is to increase to a 57mm stroke for an additional 8mm of travel with no noticeable decrease in pedaling performance. For an all out race bike, go for the 51mm stroke for 96mm of travel.

What hardware will I need to install the yoke?

The reducer bushings and bolt on the frame end reuse the stock hardware. The rear triangle end uses the reducer and bolt provided with the yoke. Metal DU bushing are required for both eyelets.

Is a remote lockout possible?

The short answer is yes! Although the cable routing is not factory fresh, it functions well and a part for angling the cable for Fox Float DPS is available.

What about WC frames?

Only 200x51mm shocks fit. The stock shock has a 48mm stroke so the 51mm shock will result in 100mm or rear wheel travel.
