Having grown up in a family that always rode bikes, it is no surprise I found myself working as a mechanic in a shop starting in high school. It wasn't long until I began to be interested in the process of how the parts I was working with were designed and manufactured.

From this interest, I found myself studying mechanical engineering in college and in the very first semester began to work on the yoke for my beloved 2014 Epic Comp Carbon. After iterations of the design, I bought a 3d printer and decided it was a good idea to ride on the plastic piece. Yes it broke in less than on hour on the trail but I was sold on the concept.

Since that time, I have taken this interest of simplifying the bikes I've owned to ease the maintenance costs, open the product and tuning options, and if at all possible save a few precious grams.

I'm always looking for another project and can't wait to see what is next.
